Ben Fisk
Ben Fisk is the founder and owner of Fisk Lawnscapes, a locally owned and operated landscaping company right here in Colorado Springs. With deep community roots and over 20 years of experience, Fisk is renowned for its upscale residential landscape design and build projects and innovative, high-quality commercial maintenance services.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife, Nicole, and their three children, and has a passion for outdoor activities such as backpacking, fishing, and softball.

Back to the Beginning
From a young age, I loved being outdoors, working with my hands, and helping people. As a teenager, I started mowing lawns to earn some extra money, not knowing at the time that this simple job would spark a passion that would lead to a business. Those early experiences laid the foundation for what would eventually become Fisk Lawnscapes.
When I decided to start Fisk Lawnscapes in 2002, it wasn’t just about launching another landscaping company—I wanted to make a real difference. I’ve always enjoyed transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments, but for me, it was about more than just aesthetics. It was about creating spaces that bring joy and fulfillment to the people who live in them. I’ve also always enjoyed building relationships and quickly learned that a big part of running a business is cultivating strong connections with vendors, clients, and employees.
Where it started
My goal was to raise the bar in the landscaping industry in Colorado Springs by offering a service that truly listened to clients and prioritized their vision.
Over time, I noticed that many landscaping companies focused on quick fixes—coming in, mowing the lawn, blowing off debris, and moving on to the next property without considering the long-term vision for the space or the homeowner’s unique needs. Colorado’s climate, with its arid conditions and water restrictions, demands more thoughtful and sustainable solutions.
Today, Fisk Lawnscapes is thriving because we’ve never strayed from our core values — craftsmanship, an elevated customer experience, and a strong, vibrant team culture.
